Here at Checkmat Christchurch Jiujitsu our goal is to create a thriving community where everyone feels welcomed and can train together, whatever their goals.
Our schedule has a bit of something for everyone, whether you are an early bird and want Jiujitsu to start your day, have a flexible schedule and can sneak away at lunch time or you want something to keep you active after work. All classes are lead by experienced instructors who have travelled the world to hone their craft.
Kids BJJ classes start as early as 3 years old, with separate classes to cater to the needs of each age group. We believe in a fun, more relaxed way of learning where kids feel comfortable to learn at their own pace.
